The DR PRO-5000D is a rugged diesel generator that is designed for extended runtimes (over 32 hours at 50% load!). Diesel power requires less maintenance, is more efficient and provides long life. The sturdy steel frame features an integrated lifting eye for easy transport and on-site security. Less than 6% total harmonic distortion ® for smooth operation of tools, appliances, and sensitive electronics.
Powered by an industrial-grade Yanmar LW series diesel engine, the PRO-5000D is a great choice for any application where long runtimes and economical operation are priorities and where the generator’s noise level is not a primary concern (diesel engines are louder than their regular gas counterparts). It is a popular customer choice for jobsites, especially where frequent refueling would be inconvenient or impossible.
